Yes and No!
Nepal is a land-locked country, it has no oceans or seas bordering it. Bordering countries are India and China, both of them are the biggest countries in the world.
Nepal looks tiny on the map. But we say "Nepal is small on the outside, but it is big inside! If you look at the area of the country, it appears small.

Quality is More than quantity!
You can have a lot of stuff but it may just be junk
But if you have a little bit of something that it is great...
That's Nepal!

The area of the country is about 56,827 square miles (147,181 SQ Kilometers).
"The world only exists in your eyes,
you can make it as big or as small as you want"
--- F. Scott Fitgerland

Nepal is trapped in between the two big giant countries, both bigger in size and population, China and India. This so called Tiny Nepal - only occupies 0.1% of the Earth's land space.

But it offers more choices for travelers and adventure seekers than any where on earth. So Nepal is BIG for adventure lovers.

The correct answer to this question is, Nepal only looks small from the outside, but it is big inside. Have a look at our cool page Small Nepal but Big Nepal and find out. By area of a land, Nepal is a Tiny, but what it offers to its people and foreigners, Nepal is a Big country !
